Sometimes you need more than a card and Stampin' Up! has some great gift packaging.  The Baker's Box is one of my favorites.  It's food safe, has a window at the top and is a great size - 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/8".  I was asked to do a display for a recent Stampin' Up! local Demo event and I knew that it would be my first project.

I "build" my bouquet on a circle of card stock, separate from the Baker's Box.  I made some paper flowers using Whisper White Card Stock and the Magnolia Memory Dies and the Perennial Flower Punch. I used a sponge dauber and Daffodil Delight ink to accent the centers of the flowers. Two of the flowers are large scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies.  I hand cut it into a spiral and rolled  them into a flower, hot glue holds them together.  I used the white Flax Ribbon and fashioned a ribbon flower.
I wrapped a length of Flax ribbon around the box, leaving some long tails.  The bouquet is hot glued to that ribbon so you can slide the whole thing off.  I put some of our local Wildflour Bakery cookies it it.
I hope the friend I gave this to enjoys it as much I enjoyed making it!
Over the years I've used this style to wrap a lot of presents.  I used whatever I find, strips of linen or silk, burlap, or wide ribbon.  One of my favorites are rolled flowers from book pages.  Stampin' Up! used to sell a die and it is a favorite of mine!  Here are a couple examples.
