April in Paris

One of my very favorite suites from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog (that's a mouthful!) is the Parisian Blossoms Suite and the Parisian Beauty Bundle is my favorite within the suite.  So, while it is April in Paris, there is no Paris in April for me. I am consoling myself, making a Paris themed card...it's as close as I can get to Paris right now, and I'm supposed to be IN Paris right now. Tomorrow I'm going to bake some macarons, while they won't be from Laduree'  as I had planned, they will have to do.  But, back to the card.

Here are the details:

Whisper White base 11x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2
Basic Black Card Stock 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4

From Basic Black Card stock die cut the Eiffel Tower using the Parisian Dies (to save paper I cut it from the Basic Black layer. Adhere to DSP with Tombow Multipurpose Glue

From Silver Foil Paper die cut the swirl using the Parisian Dies, adhere with Tombow

On a scrap piece of Basic Black stamp the word Amour from the Parisian Beauty stamp set in Versamark and emboss with White Embossing Powder, trim to fit.  I mounted it on the Eiffel Tower with Black Mini Dimensionals.  White embossing on black is one of my new favorite things!

Fussy cut some flowers from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I glued some on and some are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals

Add a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and voila!

I love the foil accents on the Designer Series Paper...well I love it all!  I hope I inspired you to bring a little Paris to your projects!
