This layout is a favorite of mine. I needed a lot of Christmas cards fast if i wanted to get my cards in the mail in time for Christmas.
I started with a base of Whisper White Thick (read about Stampin' Up! Whisper White below). I cut it 4.25 x11 -- I love using the top fold for this one.
I added a Real Red square which was die cut using the 3rd largest (aka 2nd smallest) square from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
The greeting is from Snowflake Wishes. I wanted only the "Merry Christmas" portion from the "Snowflake Wishes for a Merry Christmas" stamp. I didn't think I'd ever use that stamp as it was but I LOVE the Merry Christmas portion so I got my Paper Snip Scissors out and trimmed the Merry Christmas. There was no room for error, it helped to bend the stamp so I could see exactly where to cut. I was successful! If you don't want to cut your stamps you can mask the part you don't want.
I positioned the newly trimmed greeting onto my Stamparatus which helps me get a perfectly placed and stamped image every time. I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the image.
I wanted to give you an update on Whisper White Card Stock. The mill that produced it has permanently closed so Stampin' Up! has developed a replacement, naming it Basic White. Here is a video with more information

I needed some quick Halloween cards for the grandsons. I saw the spider in the jar card done by another demonstrator, I'm sorry I don't remember who. I didn't want an identical card for each grandson so i came up with the spider escaping! I'll be having nightmares thinking of the spider escaping!
I'm pretty sure that the grandsons don't pay much attention to the cards and just dig into the treats and LEGO in their package, but I have fun trying to get their attention!

Today's card will show you the versatility of the Tasteful Touches Bundle. It is one of the items that demonstrators can preorder from the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. It will be available to customers on June 3! I used a die in the Tasteful Labels that made me think of the mid century modern style. That is not at all what the bundle is about as you can see in this picture. Can you guess which die I used?
Here is my creation
My card base is an A2 Whisper White top fold card. I used Coastal Cabana and Basic Black layers. The Coastal Cabana layer was embossed with the retired Stone 3D Embossing Folder, and until this moment I could have sworn it was in the new catalog but it is not...sorry about that. It made me think of the stone fireplace in "The Brady Bunch"!
I used Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, and Whisper White for cutting the shapes. The accents were cut from dies in the Poppy Moments Dies using Basic Black, Crushed Curry and Pretty Peacock. I think the "You are the Best" greeting in this set would be a good match for the style, but I went with Smile from the Daisy Lane stamp set, stamping in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

It's a conundrum, create with a favorite set that is retiring soon or create with one of my preorder sets from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Today the retiring soon set won. I love the Honey Bee Bundle from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog...that bee in the Detailed Bee Dies is to die for (pun intended).
This card couldn't be simpler, die cut the bee from Gold Foil Sheets. On a 4"x5.25" Whisper White panel, stamp the leaf images in Pear Pizazz, overlapping the end of the stem just a little - though I realize now that the ends are covered so my precision placement is lost.
I couldn't stop there and added a little Wink of Stella to the flowers on the leaf garlands.
The bee is mounted using Mini Glue Dots, the greeting is mounted with Stampin' Dimensionals. The panel is mounted to an A2 size card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
You still have a few more days to make the Honey Bee Bundle yours. Today I'm excited to introduce you to the Forever Fern Bundle -- a sneak peak into the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. It is already a new favorite! In addition to the bundle I used the Greenery Mini Embossing Folders
The embossing on the background is from two mini folders, laid side by side with the Soft Sea Foam Cardstock between both them. The gorgeous ribbon is the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon which I colored ombre effect with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend, it is tied to hide the slide seam where the two embossing folders meet. I also used that Stampin' Blend to add some color to some of the raised elements.
I stamped one of the leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set using Soft Sea Foam and cut it out with a die from the Forever Flourishing Dies. I cut out another leaf spray from Shaded Spruce. I highlighted some of the raised embossing with my Clear Wink of Stella pen. I stamped the greeting onto a Soft Sea Foam panel using Shaded Spruce Ink, I cut the decorative ends of that panel using another sneak peak product, the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch. The embossed panel was mounted onto a Shaded Spruce panel. The card base is Whisper White using a top fold.
I popped that panel up with Stampin' Dimensionals and added some (5 of them, gasp) 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots -- they are self adhesive and just beautiful! I added a white dot to the "berries" with my White Stampin' Chalk Marker

I made this card awhile ago and am just now getting around to sharing it...one of my all time favorites! We all need guy cards, right? This one couldn't be simpler.
The base card is also Basic Gray, lined with a Whisper White panel.

Did I mention that my trip to Paris was cancelled? Well, actually I should say it was postponed, so another year of anticipation and planning! Still consoling myself by playing with the Parisian Beauty Bundle.
I love how the Gold Foil swirl follows the line of the Eiffel Tower (I did trip off a little loop). The scallop accent was created with one of the dies in the Lily Pad Bundle from the retired Sale-a-bration set.
To further console myself I made some french macarons...and ate too many of them.
Thanks for looking! Hope we'll all be traveling again soon but in the meantime we can stamp and bake! Stay well.

One of my very favorite suites from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog (that's a mouthful!) is the Parisian Blossoms Suite and the Parisian Beauty Bundle is my favorite within the suite. So, while it is April in Paris, there is no Paris in April for me. I am consoling myself, making a Paris themed card...it's as close as I can get to Paris right now, and I'm supposed to be IN Paris right now. Tomorrow I'm going to bake some macarons, while they won't be from Laduree' as I had planned, they will have to do. But, back to the card.
From Basic Black Card stock die cut the Eiffel Tower using the Parisian Dies (to save paper I cut it from the Basic Black layer. Adhere to DSP with Tombow Multipurpose Glue
From Silver Foil Paper die cut the swirl using the Parisian Dies, adhere with Tombow
On a scrap piece of Basic Black stamp the word Amour from the Parisian Beauty stamp set in Versamark and emboss with White Embossing Powder, trim to fit. I mounted it on the Eiffel Tower with Black Mini Dimensionals. White embossing on black is one of my new favorite things!
Add a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and voila!
I love the foil accents on the Designer Series Paper...well I love it all! I hope I inspired you to bring a little Paris to your projects!

Happy Stampin' and stay well...we're in this together
Inspiration for a card hits at unexpected times. I was in Palm Springs at the Village Fest -- a street fair with a lot of local art and food. I saw a beautiful Chanel No.5 perfume bottle pop art piece and thought I could do a version with the new Dressed to Impress stamp set that has the perfect perfume bottle. Luckily it was a set I had with me (doesn't everyone travel with card making supplies?)!
I used the watercolor splotch in the set for the background -- colors are Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron. The perfume bottle is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut the panel with the second largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies
I masked the word Parfum and replaced it with a letter "C" stamp I had in my retired stash (Sans and Stripes Photopolymer stamp set). I think it has a pretty good faux Chanel look!
While I was at it I made a couple of variations without masking the word Parfum.
I changed the background colors a bit -- Soft Sea Foam, Soft Suede
Hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to make your own! Look at all the wonderful images and dies in the Dressed to Impress Bundle.

The Tropical Oasis Suite in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog is one of my very favorite things in the catalog. I used the Timeless Tropical Bundle for this card. It came along just in time for me to use it to make my sister's birthday card. She was celebrating in Maui and I got to hand deliver the card!
Sadly I took just this one photo and it doesn't do the card justice.
What I did: Stamp a variety of Artisan Textures in Coastal Cabana onto a Whisper White panel
I added a variety of inks to a panel of Pear Pizazz to give it a watercolor look then cut the pineapple top and the small leaf using the In the Tropics Die
Watercolored a scrap of Whisper White with Blushing Bide Ink then cut the flowers using the In the Tropics Dies
Using Tombo Glue I adhered the pineapple and flowers to the stamped Whisper White Panel
Stamped the greeting using Saddle Brown Stazon Ink
Add Basic Pearls to the centers of the flowers.
Layered the Whisper White panel onto an Early Espresso panel then mounted that onto a Whisper White Thick card base
Splattered the card with a Soft Suede marker.
I stamped the greeting on the inside and added the adorable pineapple from the Tropical Oasis trinkets.
Wish I had more photos to share -- I loved the card!
